Youth Ministry

Who We Are
The Youth Ministry of the Inter-denominational Church of God is a community of men, women and students who understand and care about today's youth ages 12 to 18 and are dedicated to the discipleship process needed to produce youth passionate about Jesus Christ.
Why We Exist
Who am I? Why am I here? Where am I going? These are the questions that many youth struggle to answer. In a culture marked by fear and pain, many youth feel caught up in a tornado of uncertainty not knowing if, when or where they will land. The Youth Ministry exists to seek out all youth both in and out of the storm and provide a place where they can find the safety of the gospel, have fun serving Christ and be equipped and empowered to reach their God-given potential.
What We Do
Through the power of God's Word and the leading of the Holy Spirit, the Youth Ministry provides:
- A time and place where students can interact, support and share with other students and adults in the context of community
- Biblically based instruction that is relevant, helpful and encourages personal growth
- Fun opportunities to put faith into action by serving others
- Worship experiences that have a lasting impact
Where We Function
Youth Ministry functions generally occur at the church. Off-site locations are communicated as events are scheduled.
When We Function
Youth Ministry has a weekly Bible Study that meets on Wednesday evenings from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM during the academic school year. There is no Bible Study in July and August. Various activities occur on the 4th Friday of every month with additional dates and times communicated as activities are scheduled.
