Seniors Ministry

Who We Are

The Seniors Ministry of the Inter-denominational Church of God is a community of caring men and women dedicated to meeting the spiritual and physical needs of the senior citizens aged 55 years and older while keeping them actively involved socially and in the operation of the church body.

Why We Exist

In today's culture, many senior citizens are overlooked and are left to care for themselves spiritually, emotionally and physically. We believe that our seniors have great value based on the grace that God has shown them throughout the years. Therefore, we believe it is our responsibility to assist the seniors in their efforts to serve God and impart wisdom and knowledge to the younger generations. Additionally, it is our responsibility to help our seniors with physical needs whenever possible.

What We Do

Through the power of God's Word and the leading of the Holy Spirit, the Seniors Ministry provides:

• A loving atmosphere where seniors can support and connect with other seniors
• Biblically based encouragement to share and impart Godly wisdom
• Opportunities to put faith into action by serving others in the church body and in the community

Where We Function

Seniors Ministry events generally occur at the church. Off-site event locations are communicated as events are scheduled.

When We Function

Seniors Ministry meets on the 3rd Friday evening of every month from 7:30 PM until 9:00 PM. Additional activity dates and times are communicated as they are scheduled.
